Hungary’s diplomatic efforts and financial contribution in response to the war in Ukraine

On 24 of February 2022, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary summoned the Russian ambassador and on behalf of the Hungarian Government condemned the Russian military action against Ukraine. The same day Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said: “together with our allies from the European Union and NATO, we condemn Russia’s military intervention”. Further information here.
